1. Who We Are

SherHaul ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SherHaul mobile application and website at sherhaul.com. We help trucking carriers automate detention claims, lumper reimbursements, and broker documentation. Contact us at admin@sherhaul.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, carrier name, and MC number provided during registration.
• Location data: GPS coordinates collected when you log a dock arrival to detect detention events. Background location is used only during an active detention session. We do not track your location continuously.
• Load and claim data: Load numbers, broker names, broker email addresses, facility names, detention timestamps, hourly rates, and claim amounts.
• Photos: Images you capture of dock tickets, lumper receipts, and detention evidence. Stored encrypted and accessible only to you.
• Payment information: Subscription billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment card details.
• Usage data: Anonymous app feature usage events collected via PostHog to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Device information: Device type, OS version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate SherHaul features — detention timers, PDF claim generation, broker email pre-fill, lumper OCR, and AI dispute letters.
• To send claim PDFs to broker email addresses you specify.
• To send push notifications when your 2-hour free time threshold is reached.
• To verify and manage your subscription status.
• To respond to support requests.
• To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with these service providers:

• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication (US East — AWS us-east-1).
• Anthropic (Claude API): AI processing for lumper receipt OCR and dispute letter generation.
• Resend: Email delivery for claim PDFs sent to your broker.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and entitlement tracking.
• PostHog: Anonymized product analytics.
• Expo (EAS): App distribution and push notification delivery.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personally identifiable data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and correction: View and edit your profile in the app.
• Delete your account: Permanently delete your account and all data from the Settings screen. Irreversible.
• Location permissions: Revoke location access in device settings at any time. Manual arrival logging remains available.
• Push notifications: Disable in device settings at any time.
• Data requests: Email admin@sherhaul.com.

7. Children's Privacy

SherHaul is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Contact admin@sherhaul.com if you believe a child has provided us information.

8. Security

We use encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted cloud storage, row-level security on all database records, and signed URLs for photo access. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
